Steve Terrell’s Roundhouse Roundup has this post announcing that Judge Roderick Kennedy will be sworn in as the new Chief Judge of the New Mexico Court of Appeals tomorrow. He will be replacing Chief Judge Celia Foy Castillo, who is retiring today.

Thanks for the good wishes. We have a lot of work to do at the court, getting staff back to full complement, and finding more efficient ways to serve the State in a climate of limited resources. I’m proud to be the new Chief Judge, and looking forward to the work ahead.
