I have been reading some books about New Mexico’s fascinating history in honor of New Mexico’s statehood centennial.  For those of you who are interested in New Mexico’s legal history, I recommend reading Judge Bruce Black’s article “Historial Perspectives on New Mexico’s Judicial System,” which is at the website of the Tenth Judicial Circuit Historical Society.
